What's New?

December 10, 2011

I apologize for being gone so long. I had every intention of updating my website at the end of September, but wound up with a bad sinus infection that took me out of commission for a whole week.

Then on October 11th, my sister Robin fell victim to a violent crime and we lost her. Everything is upside down now. She was only 52 years old. We will never be able to wrap our heads around what has happened. All we can do is get up every morning, put one foot in front of the other, and move forward. That is what Robin would have wanted us to do.

I will be forever grateful for all the support, thoughts and prayers from everyone out there. To Jen, Pam, Isabella, Robin & Wendy, God bless you, my dear friends for your love and friendship. It has made my days easier & knowing that you are with me, will help me to keep going.

Please continue to keep my family, especially my sister Kim and my niece Erin, in your prayers. We have a long road ahead of us and your thoughts and prayers will help ease the pain.

I have designed a new sampler in Robin's memory, dedicated to her strong compassion for animals. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this pattern will be donated to the Summit County Humane Society in Twinsburg, Ohio, in Robin's name, for 1 year. She would have loved the way it turned out. She was a true primitive lover like the rest of us.

So I would like to introduce The Robin R. Bailey Sampler.

Robin R. Bailey Sampler

Robin R. Bailey Sampler

This sampler is stitched on 30 count Abecedarian linen, has a stitch count of 140H x 165W with a finished size of 9 1/2" x 11".

The verse reads: "May the lost and abandoned find their way to me, with strength, love and compassion, their champion I will be". Robin's legacy will live on in all of the animals that will be given a second chance at a better life.

The other 2 patterns that I have to share are an everyday pattern called "My Numbers" and a Halloween sampler called "Bella D".

Numbers Sampler

Numbers Sampler

My Numbers is a sweet little sampler that is stitched on 30 count Ivory linen with a stitch count of 120W x 61H & a finished size of 8" x 4". The darling little pinkeep that accompanies it, is stitched on 28 count Ivory linen with a stitch count of 48W x 37H & has a finished size of 3 1/2" x 2 1/2".

Bella D Sampler

Bella D Sampler

Bella D is a spooky Halloween sampler that I know you're going to love! It is stitched on 30 count Abecedarian linen. The stitch count is 180W x 76H & has a finished size of 12" x 5".

I have 2 Christmas samplers that I'm hoping to finish before the end of December. I know that they will be late for this year, but just think of the huge head start you'll have for next year! LOL!

Well that's all I have for now. I'd better get stitching!

Take care.
